Well, excuse me. Don't you think it is prudent to wait a bit to jump on bandwagons? There is a long way to go and I prefer to see my alternatives before I commit.
A few days ago there was a thread running that alleged that unless someone would commit to Palin they should be purged from the Republican party.
This kind of hero worship is akin to teen age girls at a rock concert.
I may end up supporting Palin but if I do, it will be in spite of these rabid supporters, not because of them.
Cantor showed himself to be the enemy of conservatives, see post 78, he declared war on the base.
Hero Worship it may be - but it’s deserved. Her courage and optimism in the face of the most vile hatred from the left, from the media, and even from men in her own party is astounding. If more people in this country would follow her lead we might have some hope for a new generation of amazing leaders.
Sarah is a hero and an inspiration. We need heroes. We need true leadership. And we don’t need Republican party king-makers tearing her down every chance they get. They do it at their own peril. Because there are a LOT of us Palin supporters who are looking at them right now and saying what Bush said: “You are either with us, or against us.”
I stand with Sarah because she is the only one willing to stand for me.
The way the dems get people elected is they all get on the band wagon. Conservatives need to do the same but they need to do it for conservatives only and not for McCains and Cantors and Romneys.
