While I can agree that Bush didn’t behave in a conservative fashion with respect to economics, I’m waiting for evidence that would tie his admin and the Obozo admin in together with respect to the Bill of Rights! Which rights did you have taken from you during Bush’s Presidency?

How about a direct on our fourth amendment rights but letting the NSA to listen in on the sex talk of American soldiers to their families? See here. Bush also assaulted the ancient right of habeas corpus when he attempted to deprive a natural born American citizen, Jose Padilla, of this right. His use military tribunals, now continued by Obama, in an undeclared war are another example. Please note (as Judge Andrew Napolitano points out) the rights of the Bill of Rights are guaranteed to persons, not just citizens. If the founders wanted to restrict these rights to citizens, they would have said so. Finally, Bush did an end run around the courts by ordering the snooping on phone calls without a court order.

Airport fascism is fun. Bush and his mob brought us that one. I got held up for an hour in Chicago while the turban heads went right on by.
