Oops! Turns out Obama's cost-cutting health plan won't save a dime; cheaper to do nothing

It's probably just coincidental that bad numbers about President Obama's much-coveted healthcare legislation came out late last week when few people were paying attention.

This is the absolutely crucial healthcare reform plan that simply had to be drafted, discussed, debated, amended and passed before early August. It's supposed to cover millions more Americans and reduce the nation's soaring medical costs.

Turns out, not.

Here's a little chapter review before semester finals:

News coming in fast and furious on healthcare today. Looks like this ugly b*tch maybe dying this week. But be vigilant, it will return, maybe more stealthy and not so overt with the socialism.

"You mean extending insurance to an additional 20 million people, restricting insurance premium hikes for higher risk people, and eliminating denial of coverage for pre-existing conditions would actually raise costs? I'm shocked, shocked."

But not only was -18B+/A-bama’s plan supposed to save billions of dollars but it would jump start the economy.

NO WONDER WE NEVER HAVE SEEN IS SCHOOL RECORDS, the Pre_sent is very mathematically challenged.

From the 57 state gaffe to overspending on his Amex and not knowing it the community organizer probably has a hard time with simple problems such as 2 + 2.

How's that "deficit neutral" coming along Barry and Dems. Assuredly, you will keep your promise to not sign anything related to national healthcare if it is not "deficit neutral," correct? =.= Do I really need to post up my "You Lie!" Joe Wilson .jpeg?

Are there ANY Dem senators who are against this?
If they are against it, whose to say each one of them won’t pull a “Landreau” and sell their vote?
I believe Liberman will sell his as well.
Snowe probably will also. She usually does.

-Which Dems are against it and why? As I stated in an earlier post some may pretend to debate and have a conscious, but when it comes down to the wire, they end up sticking together like the feces that they are.

-Yes, Landrieu voted to start debate, but her vote was BOUGHT. There were conflicting reports giving the pricetag of that vote $100-300 MILLION. I’m willing to bet part of that purchase was her vote FOR whatever turd they ended up with as the final bill.

-Liberman was once a Dem, therefore he cannot be “completely trusted.”

-Snowe is a RINO. I think she may be tired of the bad rep she has gotten among Republicans, that would explain her being on record as against this bill, but when it comes to the actual vote, I would not count on her to vote with her party.

Is this supposed to be a surprise?

Sadly, the facts almost never get in the way of Congress passing unnecessary legislation. There is no way that I'll hold my breath hoping that this will go away. I am glad, however, that I came back to FR a week or two ago; it's wonderful and very heartening to see so many people that are willing to fight the good fight!
