Thank you. I’m pretty disappointed in the responses of some of the freepers above. Maybe it’s just that I’ve heard a real vet talk about landing on one of the beaches. After that, it’s just something that’s never ever funny.

What if this guy were a recently returned from Afghanistan Marine, talking about “the sand and the heat” etc. to sell a resort in Vegas? Plenty of people would have their panties in a wad then. I suppose I just see through a wider lens...

That commercial is no different than any comedy movie or TV show set during World War II or any war.
