God only knows how much cash that old swindler rooked out of my late grandmother. He’s going to have some ‘splainin’ to do.
When I was young and uncommonly stupid, I considered giving money to Oral Roberts. My Mom told me she would break my arm if I tried...and that I would understand when I was older.
She was right on both counts.
I’m sure he has sins that he’ll have to answer for when he meets the Almighty - all of us do.

Don’t forget that God was going to kill him if he didn’t get a certain amount of money while he was up in his prayer tower.

My great grandfather took her to see Oral Roberts. Oral Roberts laid his hands upon her, and when she didn’t jump right up and dance a jig and go back to work; my great grandfather decided she was “of the devil” and left her to die without comfort.
Oral Roberts was a charlatan. Woe to those who believe in false prophets.
