I’ll get slaughtered for this but it is a good choice. Bernanke being a student of the Great Depression has done a good job with monetary policy and did not repeat the same mistakes as the monetary tightening during the 30’s. He will do an even better job if he is able to drain liquidity when demand for money slows from its record levels currently seen.
