Marjorie Margolies-Mezvinsky, that is. She’s known as MMM in her home state of Pennsylvania, and she has been through all of this before: she voted for President Clinton’s unpopular budget in 1993, and was summarily ousted. But her life tells an encouraging story to those who vote for massively unpopular programs: retirement can be cushy...

This woman's husband was (earlier) also in Congress; they married (before she was elected) during his final term. He was later convicted of many counts of fraud.

Their son just got engaged to Chelsea Clinton.

Anyway, this is a great reminder, from Americans for Tax Reform.

Now that 2009 has been a repeat of 1993 (as we were hoping - and working hard towards!), let's make 2010 a repeat of 1994!!

The thing is, with guys like Tanner and Gordon, they are going to want to remain respectable in their communities in Tennessee. To make sure they vote the right way the proper response is to ramp up the social pressure to the point that they think they’ll be pariahs if they vote the wrong way on the bill.

Personally, I think they should work in Pelosi’s vinyard stomping grapes. They are so used to crushing us at her bequest, it should be a fairly smooth transition!

They won't care. The pity of it is that all of them will be nursing at the taxpayers' teat for the rest of their lives. Until we decouple taxpayer-funded retirements (401Ks) as one of the politicians perks, nothing will change - whatever party is in control.

I would love to see that POC Alan Grayson lose his seat in November. That would be sweet.

Rush used to refer to MMM as “Marjorie Margolies JUDAS Mezvinsky.” LOL. Let us hope these morons who also are ignoring the will of their constituents meet the same electoral fate.
