All,

Before you say, “I’m done with that party”, let’s examine the possibilities. You abandon “R”, and you get Perot.

You look to see what Steele does, like perhaps he endorses Rubio against Crist...what would be proof. Pandering? I don’t care, if he does what he’s supposed to do like put forth the right candidates (pun intended), then we get what we want and need.

Losing to win in the long run is STUPID...listen to Rush on this...long run may be too late and your country is gone and replaced by France of America or some other Euro-weenie country run by college professors and Sierra Club founders.

Before you go and toss “R” under the bus, let’s keep pushing Steele to do the right thing.

I agree with you. I thought his recent actions have shown that he is starting to get it. I think he also could be very useful if he can get the present party office holders to take this movement very seriously.

Nobody is saying they aren’t going to vote for the next pub candidate. Nobody is saying that they will. But if they pull another Rudy McRino, they just might get another four of this mess. Business as usual is not an option.

I'm not against pushing Steel to "do the right thing", but I'm also weary of the upper echelons of the party. I DO see this as an attempt to co-op the movement for their own gains. And by that I mean: To make sure that they can keep control and keep pushing the same old tired RINO candidates repackaged.

The Tea Party has caught them completely off guard. They're in scramble mode.

They're latching onto the style, but not the substance. It will take more than a few platitudes from Steel and others to convince me, and a whole lot of others, of their sincere desire to repent and come out from the dark side of wanting to be a part of "The Political Class looking down on The People as their betters.
