There's no indication that Steele wants the RNC to "run the Tea Party Movement." There's only an indication that he finally recognizes what's been going on in the country and wants to move in our direction.

This is a good thing. A reformed Republican party embracing conservatism is what we need to regain power in this country and rid it of the Marxist rot going on right now.

Don't be naieve, the RNC recognizes the power of the Tea Party Movement. I haven't heard any of them disavow their "moderate" actions. Have you? Have you heard any of them admit their deviation from republican principles?

The RNC would love to steer the movement, they haven't given up the belief that they are the anointed, and destined to lead.
