Putting our economy in the hands of Chavez fans (Global Warming Anti-Capitalism Barf Alert)
Herald Sun ^ | 12/17/09 | Andrew Bolt

These maniacs in Copenhagen are voting on your future:

President Chavez brought the house down.

When he said there was a “silent and terrible ghost in the room” and that ghost was called capitalism, the applause was deafening.

But then he wound up to his grand conclusion – 20 minutes after his 5 minute speaking time was supposed to have ended and after quoting everyone from Karl Marx to Jesus Christ - “our revolution seeks to help all people…socialism, the other ghost that is probably wandering around this room, that’s the way to save the planet, capitalism is the road to hell....let’s fight against capitalism and make it obey us.” He won a standing ovation.

Nothing is real in Copenhagen - not the temperature record, not the predictions, not the agenda, not the “solution”. In fact, here’s how fake it all is:

The lead negotiator for the small island nation of Tuvalu, the bow-tie wearing Ian Fry, broke down as he begged delegates to take tough action.

“I woke up this morning crying,” and that’s not easy for a grown man to admit,” Mr Fry said on Saturday, as his eyes welled with tears.

”The fate of my country rests in your hands,” he concluded, as the audience exploded with wild applause.

But the part-time PhD scholar at the Australian National University actually resides in Queanbeyan, NSW, where he’s not likely to be troubled by rising sea levels because the closest beach at Batemans Bay is a two-hour, 144km drive away. Asked whether he had ever lived in Tuvalu, his wife told The Australian last night she would “rather not comment”....

I notice that after 9-10 years of Chavez’s careful and empathic rule, the people of Venezeula are still poor, still downtrodden and live in abject fear of their government.

I woke up this morning crying,

That isn't any wonder. The Copenhagen summit is just one big schrei fest bent on spreading misery worldwide. Anybody that believes the earth is melting should wake up crying everyday. Spare the rest of us.

The irony being that communism has an atrocious record when it comes the environment. Where else in the world can you find a mess as big as the Aral Sea?

That exactly and clearly sums up what these nutjobs are- Hugo Chavez worshipping fools, and we should listen to ANYTHING these wackos say because why now? And the world is fallign for their BS why again?

You know, I think the problem with the GOP is that it is too sane, too rational, too spot on correct- the only way to make any headway in this world apparently, is to becoem totally insane, make NO sense, and just keep saying lie after lie after lie- then the world will worship them because hte truth is like kryptonite to superman to htem

Mugabe must be Greedo.

Love the line about “alleged human rights violations” in Zimbabwe. Gee, the No. Korean troops killing hundreds or thousands of innocent people is “alleged”?
The attacks and killings of white farmers and their staff is “alleged”?
The destruction of one of Africa’s best economies by marxist terrorism and mobs is “alleged?”

The writer of this line is “an alleged writer.” KMA

Socialism is anti-human. Chavez is a Spanish-speaking Soviet. The climate conference is an exercise in futility pursued by fools.

Capitalism is, in reality, Free Enterprise, the source of human wealth and the engine of any economy.

The mind of mankind is on Satan’s leash, and he’s mobilizing it for Armageddon, the semi-final showdown.

I love your tagline. That was said by Nebuchadnezzar after eating grass for two years!
