“Yes, the election of Bill Clinton in 1992 resulted in a conservative takeover of the House two years later, but Clinton was far more moderate than Obama, and his election didn’t inspire millions of Americans to arm themselves for the first time.”

I think a lot of people thought they were getting a REAL “black Bill Clinton” and didn’t realize they were swindled.

So accurate it is scary!
Then: "I have a dream that my children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character."
--Martin Luther King, Address from the Lincoln Memorial, 1963

Now: "I have a dream that my children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the content of their character but by the color of their skin."

Very good read! Thank you.

The issue as I see it is that, yes, Obama is radical left wing, and yet not radical left wing enough to satisfy Deaniacs and Kossacks and progressive professors and even SEIU/ACORNers.

So even if Obama and the current crop of enablers in the house and senate fail to move their agenda forward, the USA is polluted top to bottom with his fellow travelers and worse.

We are a divided, dysfunctional country, eating itself alive from within. Obama is only a symptom, not the disease itself.

Everyone...Get Involved!
NO THIRD PARTY!
Much easier to take back and correct the existing party. Start at the bottom in your precinct! Personally run for the precinct chair and find all nearby precinct chairs and start working together.

It can be as easy as filling out a form and taking it into your county GOP HQ.
I was shocked to find out that my precinct did not have an active chair, had voted 51% for Obama and I did NOTHING proactive. I simply voted on Election day. That is NOT ENOUGH!

As Reagan said in the speech mentioned above: “Conservatism is the antithesis of the kind of ideological fanaticism that has brought so much horror and destruction to the world. The common sense and common decency of ordinary men and women, working out their own lives in their own way — this is the heart of American conservatism today.”

PLEASE TAKE ONE HOUR AND GET INVOLVED IN YOUR PRECINCT TODAY.

I myself wonder if elections will mean anything, what with the corruption in Washington, the SEIU and ACORN out in full force, ballots not being counted and add to all that amnesty for all illegals...

I hope I’m wrong, but more and more, with every passing day of corruption and proof of Obama destroying this country and our liberties, I fear an economic collapse, high inflation, and essentially, I believe the only true way to get back to our Constitutional values is a revolt of the people to take back this country BY FORCE.

Great article. I know that Mark Levin’s book Liberty and Tyranny was written before Obama even got elected. However, nothing could have been more timely and needed. We all have a choice to make. That is an active choice between liberty and tyranny. As the preacher concluded, there’s a time to stop preaching and get into action. This is the time for all of us to get involved. And get involved beyond merely words or postings on a website. Make our voices heard!!

I’m tired of the brave words of the Revolutionary leaders who urged people to go FIGHT and then WENT TO WAR being tossed around to encourage us to Call our Representatives, or elect GOPers.

I’m waiting for the REAL Patrick Henry of today who when they talk about going to fight the oppression of the beast means FIGHT it, in the Classical Sense.

Until then please confine your use of quotes from the Revolutionary Period to those patriots who urged compromise, letter writing, petitioning and prayer as the primary means of effecting change in the colonies.

Thanks!
