Sarah is progressing gradually. I’m delighted at the modest pace. It is befitting such a well-grounded lady. Those 44 points aren’t going away. That’s the new base.

"Sarah Palin is still viewed more unfavorably than favorably by Americans"

Interesting choice of wording from the Gallop people with whom I don't trust to be honest with their numbers if you put a gun to their heads.

If she is nominated and loses to Barry, I won’t second-guess that we nominated the wrong candidate. America will deserve whatever happens to her.

Why is Gallup wasting money on polling attitudes re a private American citizen?

Ditto your sentiments on Gallup. For instance, how many said they had no opinion, or didn't know. I seriously doubt 56% said they viewed her unfavorably.

And just where did they come up with 56% for Obama. Did they poll only Dem minorities in Chicago?

gallup? sorry... no credibility... even rasmussen works hard to hide the obama decline... the best he can do is 45% approve with “somewhat approve” added to help keep husein’s approval in the 40’s.

Given that the Main Stream Media is completely in the tank for Obama, and that the MSM never misses an opportunity to smear Governor Palin and her family, I am amazed that it’s even that close.

How about we put Palin’s last job approval ratings up against Obama’s?

I wrote that "I won’t second-guess that we nominated the wrong candidate". I like Palin okay. I'm taking a wait and see approach. I have become more impressed with her after her latest round of interviews.

Gallup’s ratings on Palin are +44 / -47.

CNN’ ratings on Palin are +46 / -46.

Rasmussen’ ratings on Palin are +46 / -49.

So Gallup is in the ball park.

I seriously doubt 56% said they viewed her unfavorably.

You are correct as it was 47% unfavorable and 9% no opinion. Palins numbers are tracking over time a more stable path than Obamas.

The poll shows Obama’s favorable ratings dropping from 78% to 56% while his unfavorables have gone from 18% to 42% over the last several months.

Let's see. A supposedly washed up, inconsequential former Governor of Alaska (and former VP candidate) is only 11 points behind a sitting President in national popularity.

He's losing ground, and she's steadily gaining. Doesn't bode well for Zero now does it?

She's an empty airhead dazzled by celebrities. The woman has no idea about conservatism - and its there in her book where she endorses Kid Rock's ideas. I want our next President to be a conservative. At this point in time, one isn't sure where we'll find one.

She is not a conservative, she is an American First Main Street American conservative. That means she wants to take care of the US not Wall Street, PC elites, Neocons, Free Traitors, Globalists, RINO’s etc. She is the only one that can unite the Tea Party and GOP to defeat the Dems in 2012.
