Isn't there something also in the direction of the swastika? Pointing right for the Nazi's and left for the other? Thought I read something about that ... and also, don't the Navajos have that symbol on their ceremonial headdresses? Just askin’ .....

Yes, there is something about the direction of the arms but the Nazis only copied that as well.
In Hinduism, the right-hand (clockwise) swastika is a symbol of the sun and the god Vishnu, while the left-hand (counterclockwise) swastika represents Kali and magic. The Buddhist swastika is almost always clockwise, while the swastika adopted by the Nazis (many of whom had occult interests) is counterclockwise.
I think more than one Native American tribe used a swastika symbol in their artwork.
