Seattle police are not the norm. Through no-holds-barred “non-discrimination” policies, the department has been infested with faggots, feminists, and all manner of leftist trash. Just part of the culture of Seattle, the San Francisco of the Northwest.

As I understand it, the perp in Lakewood used a fairly ordinary Beretta 9mm. Perhaps somebody can correct me on that?

Technically a 9mm Beretta M9A1 is a military weapon, though I would not lead an assualt with it.

And you always have to watch these female politicians with hyphenated last names.

Those are always trouble. It makes them think theyre smarter than the rest of us.

“The two TEC-9 types on the table are worthless jam-o-matics and no military ever used them.”

Actually, the TEC-9 is a reasonably good semi pistol, and will fire the cheapest imported ammo without jamming. It’s also fun to shoot...

Mas Ayoob reported on his blog that when the murderer was killed he had one of the guns from the downed police officers.

By this cretin’s (the elected official) logic, we should dis-arm police because the bad guys are using stolen cop guns.

Go figure. See tagline - hasn’t changed in years...

Kit.

I have been advocating doing just that with several states. Washington, Oregon, Illinois, New York, and Pennsylvania.

Yep, Armenia, Ukraine, Nazi Germany, Cuba, Communist China, the USSR, Cambodia, Uganda, and Iran are all excellent examples where the only the military and police have guns.

Why dont you folks tell her its none of her business what guns you have?

Despite the fact that Western Washington is so pathetically, tragically hard-left that it carries the vote on most issues despite near-unified Conservative opposition from the far more sane Eastern Washington, the last time there was a serious anti-gun initiative here in Washington it was defeated by an overwhelming landslide despite having the gun grabbers outspend the normal people by around ten to one as I recall.  It was an absolute rout, and the media were just beside themselves with apoplexy over it.

I don't expect this nonsense to actually pass, but just like our idiot Mayor Nickels who tried to ban guns in Seattle parks not so long ago, the Left loves to do this obviously unconstitutional garbage every now and then.  I suppose it's to gin up their Commie base and keep them interested or something, I'm not sure.  I've lived in Washington my whole life and in fact I was born here, and they just keep doing this stuff over and over again regardless of how many times it's thrown out of courts or is obviously unconstitutional from the get-go.  I guess the Washington Left is just a particularly unhinged type of raving, barking moonbat.

What the hell is considered “rapid fire?”

Well, sure, the Beretta is military issue. But it’s also a very ordinary pistol in every way.

This insipid legislator is trying to imply that these cops were taken down by some kind of machine gun, and that’s the only reason that it was as bad as it was. Dumb. Like I said, he could’ve done what he did with a revolver or a 7-iron.

What the hell is considered “rapid fire?”

My guess is that to the gun-grabbing Left, anything that can be loaded with any kind of projectile at all is 'rapid fire' and it terrifies them because of the power that it gives to the common, law-abiding individual.

A magazine dedicated to "rapid-fire assault rifles" that the Left would LOVE to ban, along with everything else that empowers the common Citizen.

Perhaps something does need to be done about all those autonomous weapons that roam Washington and shoot unsuspecting police officers. In other states guns are not permitted to roam about alone or in herds.

Good point. I didn't know my guns could go out without me. I'd better lock them up.

I agree 100%

Actually, the perp, when caught, will probably have a rap sheet a mile long and will have been put on the streets to kill this officer thanks to the mindset of liberals like Kohl-Wells. No gun killed this cop, a thug with a gun did.

Lest we forget: Seattle Police Chief’s gun stolen.

http://www.komonews.com/news/archive/4141486.html

Also, regarding conservative areas of the state; “When we get piled upon one another in large cities, as in Europe, we shall become as corrupt as Europe”. ~ Thomas Jefferson

The truth is, and we all know it, that rural areas regardless of which state, tend to have more conservatives. Western Washington is no exception. Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia etc.. of course are full of liberals but outside of the cities you will find hard-working, God-fearing, self-suffcient types. Farmers, dairy ranchers and loggers come immediately to mind in western Washington.
