We are a world in the grip of madness and there doesn’t seem to be any way out of it. I pray that we can survive until we are given the opportunity to start the process of reversal of these policies next November.

What influence? Obama's agenda has been to effectively destroy the U.S. as a world economic and military power. And it's been working really well, in case anyone hasn't noticed.
His problem now, of course, is that he has no influence himself as President of the U.S. I suppose he forgot to factor that little issue into account. I guess he expected his mighty force of personality would carry the day. Well, what would you expect from such an arrogant narcissist? This dude is soon going to be eating so much hubris pie, his belly will ache for the rest of his life.
