I’m here a mile from the Pentagon. The first flakes are already falling
Thanks, maggief.
He looks surprisingly well for his advanced age.
Damn clever, these Chinese!
LOLOLOLOL
OMG *that’s funny*
Outrageous and pathetic, these people of the lie. We should be used to it by now; but somehow; always a fresh searing pain; and waves of disgust washing over your psyche when you see the evildoers working their latest Machiavillian outreach.
Can only ask and pray. . .'Dear God; and those who make 'His hands' work in our lives; save us from these people!' Of course, the snowstorm helps/lol. . .but all our hands are needed.. .
Hope your pantry is stocked and your shopping is done.
Sounds like the stores in the district are crazy with last minute shoppers.
Stay safe.
That’s great, I hope you get enough to close DC!
WOW - well, you hae a snow emergency in effect.
Do you think you’ll lose power?
Oh my. It’s already started?
Whatever will they DO?
(...dreaming of limo’s stuck in 11 foot drifts with dozens of Dem senators...)
Looks like the lights are on, temporarily.
:D
Let it snow!
Just think where we’d be if we had just followed instructions:
Genesis 1:28 (New International Version)
28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”
Yeah but that was it. It snowed about 8 in in ‘03 and nothing to speak of since. ‘96 was a major anomaly and ‘87 was strange but it melted fast. Some snow is normal, this is pretty major this early.
Great point. Al Franken p*ssed him and so he left town so they couldn’t push this through in the middle of the night on Christmas Eve!
Quick, get Nelson, Snowe, and Collins out of town before it’s too late.
I left D.C. to get out ahead of the blizzard and to be sure I would be able visit my parents down South. Barely made it. Snow was heavy before Richmond at 4 p.m. Had to stop in South Hill, Virginia — 6 vehicles slid off I-95 in the last 30 miles coming passt South Hill.
He's going to be the cause of some deaths if he doesn't adjourn. He's not just holding senators, they have staffs, there's workers in the buildings, security personnel, cafeteria and several others.
Does he intend to hold them in lock-down too?
The power should be fine. They say since all the leaves are off the trees and because it is cold so the snow will be dry with no sleet the power lines should be fine. I’ve stocked up, put the cars inside, checked on the elderly neighbors and bought some extra beer. I have two strapping teenage boys to do the driveway.
