First, the US is NOT the world's biggest polluter, especially if you look at pollution efficiency, i.e. how many pounds of pollutants are emitted for each car built, each bushel of corn harvested, etc. Second, I believe there were numerous other industrialized nations that didn't sign. Lastly, how did the Senate's refusal to get mugged by signing Kyoto "make the US the world's largest polluter"??? Did them not signing something somehow cause more smoke to come out the top of all the smokestacks?? Or are these idjits saying that by NOT reducing CO2 when the others did, the US became the biggest polluter, cause even that would be a lie. Nobody else reduced emissions one bit.
