If HCR becomes law civil disobedience will be one of the few ways to fight against it. A constant barrage of lawsuits would be another but the courts may be too far gone for that to be effective.

I'm serious about being a conscientious objector when it comes to paying taxes that will go for abortions. That is a lawyer-ready issue. No one can be forced to participate in the taking of life if it violates their faith and conscience. Legal definitions of 'personhood' don't even enter into that.

Everything about this bill is un-Constitutional and un-American. It is statist, fascist and communist in nature from beginning to end. If it passes and is accepted as “the way it is” it will change the way rights are perceived by the courts and by the people from individual rights to collective rights. If anyone thinks that sea change in the nature of jurisprudence can or will be contained and limited to matters of health care they are delusional.

If you read the liberal columnists, they are all calling for the reduction in population. Shortening life spans will do that. Less CO2 being emitted by people will help their BS Global Warming agenda.

I had to drive after shoveling out my car and 12-14” inch snow.

I heard the great Senator Coburn’s speech.

Baucus and Reid are a disgrace to the Senate.
They won’t accept any amendments the Republicans offer.
Baucus objected and said it was a “stunt.” to drop the insurance penalty,
and other pertinent issues.
Coburn rightly said debate is not a stunt.

Senator McConnell was in his chair, listening to Senator Coburn.

These Democrats are ruling like a duma. (sic).
