Damn shame, but the piss poor driving of the state police is what killed the officer. Both need a little time, state man needs a career change and she needs some serious jail time.

I understand how the law works, but he was putting down tack strips and a fellow officer hit him with a patrol car.

Bet Gloria Alred could get her off.

If you want a big punishment, you'd better start off with big charges.

A trial or plea-bargaining will frequently result in conviction on lesser charges.

A First-Degree murder charge is ridiculous. However, the officer wouldn’t be dead if it wasn’t for the fact she made him chase her by trying to escape lawful arrest. For that reason she needs to be held accountable for his death and sent to prison for a long time....

Agree.

Actions have consequences, and I am all for filing attempted murder on all those self-absorbed, self-important thug-wannabes when they run and engage in bumper-car driving when attempting a get away.

A car is a lethal weapon.

Well, they filed some good charges, but the murder charge will have to go. One policeman was placing some “stop sticks,” and another policeman ran over him. That was a terrible accident and an accident only. With more legal honesty from the prosecutor, under today’s hysterical laws, the policeman who ran over him would probably be charged with manslaughter or worse.
