The bill imposes a 10 per cent tax on tanning salons on the basis that tanning beds are linked to cancer, but has removed the “botox tax” on elective plastic surgery
as requested by Speaker Pelosi .

Fixed it.

Tell me, which agency is going to regulate tanning beds? How are they going to collect this tax? From the states’ sales taxes? Or are salons supposed to ‘voluntarily’ report the frequency of tanning bed usage on their income tax returns?

BTW, most “indoor tanning salons” are small businesses. This is a new tax on small business.
