I remember United 232 that crashed in Sioux City Iowa, I got a call that I had to go to the airport bar. ( I worked for UAl at that time and was in Sioux falls SD for training) Once in the bar a guy was there drinking heavily. he said he was a passenger on 232 and needed something to settle his nerves. After checking the passenger manifest to verify it, I paid for the whole bottle and then had him taken to the hospital to be checked out.
