While en route to El Paso they stopped to sleep at a a quinta and when the awoke this morning all the gifts were stolen.
I agree 100%. I'm surprised there aren't more vigilantes. Maybe there are, and we just don't know it.
‘La Quinta’ is Spanish for ‘Complimentary High Speed Internet in Every Room’.
At least, that’s what the billboard on the way into Phoenix says...
They’re generally not bad for a one-night stopover while traveling.
“Okay...Im dumb....in this case what is a Quinta?”
La Quinta Inn is a motel chain. The “L” was dropped... probably a typo.
I heard a story about the husband of a woman who was car-jacked here south of Sierra Vista, AZ. If it's true, then there are some out there that we don't hear about.
“La Quinta Inn is a motel chain”
Thank you! I learn something new everyday on FR.
Who leaves $3,000 worth of Christmas presents in a car, in a hotel parking lot, overnight, at Christmas time?
It’s that time of year. There are a lot of thieves who know that cars will be full of brand-new items, especially at hotels where people stay because they are going to christmas in another state.
I wouldn’t be surprised if hundreds of thousands of people have presents stolen this year out of their cars.
What is a Bond Card and how does it help you with traffic tickets?
Apparently, the Ramos family.
Unmerry Christmas for famous ex-Border Patrol agent Ignacio Ramos
Several cars were broken into at the hotel they were at.
La Quinta inn. Like a Motel 6
Car insurance does not coverage items stolen from the car, only the damage to the car.
Homeowners Insurance covers belonging inside a car. Several years ago I had a camera stolen from my car. My auto ins. didn’t cover it but my homeowners did.
They lost their home.
[This coverage helps pay for loss of or damage to an insured vehicle, not caused by a collision or vehicle rollover.]
but does not include loose items in the car.....
Ohhh. Darn!
[Ohhh. Darn!]
on the bright side.....were this to happen 4 years in the future....the thieves would have health insurance in the event they were shot and had treatable injuries while breakin into the Ramos’ vehicle.....which would have no content coverage, save their homeowners insurance with a deductible much to high to cover the cars contents.......
Amerika.....is this a great place or what!?
