Schumer: Health bill's unpopularity 'has peaked' -- legislation will 'become more and more popular'
Washington Examiner ^

Meeting reporters after passage of the Democratic national health care bill, Sen. Charles Schumer seemed sensitive to the commentary pointing out that the Democratic legislation is overwhelmingly unpopular with the American people. "I don't believe that," Schumer said. "I believe that the negativity that Leader McConnell and others have continually displayed on the floor has peaked, and now, when people learn what's actually in the bill and all the good it does, it will become more and more popular."

It will be several years before any American will get any benefits from Obamacare.

But in the meantime it will have to be funded, and I seriously doubt Americans will get used to seeing smaller paychecks.

The Republicans have to make this an #1 priority! Damn the jobs bill or any other trick these traiors pull, stop Obamacare!

Well, they had better stop being so civil and refined about it and come up with some decent, hard-hitting talking points already. They seem to forget that half this country is brain-dead.

Honestly, I've seen better ads against this posted on YouTube.

THIS is the Kool-Aid the Democrats have been drinking.

They know the country is opposed to this, but they are telling themselves the country will love it once they see it.

Imagine a woman with long, long hair telling her stylist not to cut her hair short, and they stylist saying to herself “I’m going to cut it short anyway, because I’m sure she’ll love it when she sees it.” That’s they same thinking the Democrats are using.

..wait till the uninformed find out the GOVERNMENT has access to their bank accounts

The media has kept this part of the bill quiet. Don't they realize they're also going to be victims of this bill, or do they think they're somehow exempt?

Bank all the money you can in a safety deposit box. You're going to need it later. And for gosh sakes, stop sending money to the politicians. Keep as much of it as you can for your own family. Now is not the time to be voluntary slaves for Oboma.

PS-I wondered if there might be something going on in Giuliani’s personal life right now. I have noticed that his newest wife hasn’t been at his side much lately. Otherwise you would think he’d at least be interested in the Governorship.

According to libturd Schmucky, people love higher taxes, less service and more intrusive government. Why not make every family by a Chevy next?

Ain’t gonna happen Schumcky.

Doesn’t this just point out the major problem caused by the 17th amendment.

when people learn what's actually in the bill

Oh, we very much would like to know what's in the bill. I dare you show us the whole thing by reading it into the Congressional Record, Mr. Back-room-deal Schumer!

They are busy in their repair mode. I have heard this before along with how wonderful the economy is and how wonderful that bum, Obama is. It’s all make believe. They have to say something.

They also don’t want us to pursue anything against them. That’s why they are trying to stop and turn the tables.

Keep their feet to the fire. Get rid of them, take their pensions and health care and for God’s sake, put them in jail and never let them near government again.

Agreed, and they lack passion. But I'm going to email Sean, Rush, anyone I can to get the ball rolling.

We need to personalize it, where are you going to get $xxx to pay for healthcare, who will watch your kids when you're in jail because you couldn't pay, where can you turn when the death panel tells you there will be no operation because your odds of surviving aren't good enough or no MRI for your kid because they don't think the problem is in their brain and it's too expensive., etc.

Then we need to hit them like they do us, explain that they've not only taken away our children's future, they're taking from them right now by demanding unconstitutional payoffs in the form of mandates and fines. What will that cost our kids today?

They are busy in their repair mode.

Wait until the few democrats who work find out they're going to be FORCED to buy their own health care - at a higher price than they would have paid before this bill passed. They wanted it all for free, but now they're going to pay twice as much.

here’s an underreported part of the bill that should make them REAL popular!

The Senate bill imposes a cap of 10% of revenuse that insurance companies can spend on “administrative costs”.

Apparently no one but Joe Lieberman seems to be aware of the massive numbers of people who are employed by health insurance companies.

Little Birdies tell me that plans are already well under way for a MASSIVE shift of administrative jobs offshore in order to comply with this 10% limit. A bunch of pink-slipped employees on top of all the other debacles is certain to make them REAL POPULAR! /sarc
