Religion transcends mere National boarders. This should also be fairly obvious.

No. That wasn't my point either. Only that Either side attempting to use government force to enforce their will on the other is bound to have severe negative unintended consequences.

My original question to you was, "what negative consequence do you anticipate for the atheist in this case?" As far as I can tell, you're saying at this point that such actions will upset some Muslims in (for instance) Iran.

Dude...they already hate us. "Great Satan" and all that, remember?

Getting back to the original subject: how is someone putting up a sign next to a Christmas tree using "government force to enforce their will"?
