Is the Age of Obama the beginning of the end of America, the last best hope of earth?
President Obama's curtsy to the Saudi king and his reverential bow before the Japanese Emperor was one of those "right-wing" criticisms that I thought, at the time, was mostly much ado about very little of substance. I now take that back. It was emblematic of what is taking place now.
While all hands on deck have been focused on the healthcare "debate" and Christmas family matters, President Obama last week quietly signed an amendment to Executive Order 12425 (signed by Reagan in 1983, but with restrictions in place to protect the Constitutional rights of our citizens), effectively eroding American sovereignty by immunizing INTERPOL activities within the U.S.

I agree. I’ve never felt quite the sense of urgency as I have lately. It seems like our country is spiraling down the storm drain, faster and faster, seemingly unable to prevent its own demise.
Even though Zero’s only been in office less that a year, it seems like an eternity. He has done everything in his power to destroy this nation, and he still has three years left. One wonders what other destructive acts he has planned.
Even if your not very religious, this would be the time to say an urgent prayer for the United States. We surely need it.

Yes, AFTER we have repented and prayed. I believe our Founding Fathers gave us such examples. I fully believe that God was very involved in the founding of this nation. I also believe that all of us have, in one way or another, taken that for granted for too long a time.
With God, we CAN turn this around!

What Constitution? How much does someone who is not even Constitutionally eligible to BE president care about that sorry piece of paper? He is not qualified, eligible, or deserving of the title of President. And I am so ashamed of this country for being so utterly stupid, ignorant, and complacent to allow this to happen. Sure, we can blame decades of public schools where GOD was banned, but Gia, and so many other false religions (the religion of Liberalism being chief among them) were freely admitted and preached from the pulpits of teacher’s desks and podiums.
But as someone has already mentioned - I really believe this fight is out of our hands now. There is lots of talk of a Republican/Conservative re-emergence in 2010. I’m not so sure. Senators who are up for reelection this next year, and who appear to already be losing before the actual election starts, are voting as if they don’t have a care in the world. This only happens when they know something that the voters don’t know.
And with the EPA now acting as the puppet for the Obama administration to enforce an illegal and unconstitutional agreement on the environment - I think there is something brewing WAY bigger than anyone cares to look at or investigate.
I pray that I am completely and totally wrong in my thinking. I will JOYFULLY eat crow if I am wrong... I WANT that meal.
Any American who truly loves this country, who is not on his or her knees, humbling themselves before God, and pleading for the deliverance of our nation from the evil that has beset it - is no American at all. It is our voyage AWAY from God that has brought us squarely to the position we are in now. Continue to reject God and you might as well shut up and “enjoy” the penalty for that rejection.

You’re not alone and neither am I in thinking this way. We are facing something insidiously worse if we do not pay attention and understand HOW to best reverse all this.

By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, including section 1 of the International Organizations Immunities Act (22 U.S.C. 288), and in order to extend the appropriate privileges, exemptions, and immunities to the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL), it is hereby ordered that Executive Order 12425 of June 16, 1983, as amended, is further amended by deleting from the first sentence the words “except those provided by Section 2(c), Section 3, Section 4, Section 5, and Section 6 of that Act” and the semicolon that immediately precedes them.
