I normally don’t advocate violence on Christmas, but in this case...

From a flight forum: “...said the pilot declared an emergency due to a smoke indicator alarm going off.”

It wasn’t firecrackers. He tried to set off a bomb.

Either the MSM was covering up for this Islamic terrorist or the airline was. But then, we must not “jump to conclusions!!”

This sounds more plausible in a way.

Why would you do a test run with fireworks and expose a weakness in the system? Wouldn't security then crack down and make getting real explosives through much harder?

Hate to sound conspiratorial, but it would make sense in a way that this was a failed attempt using a homemade explosive device and security is calling it “firecrackers” so travelers don't get upset and stop flying.

Drugs are easy to get in Amsterdam. They have “coffee houses” where you can buy pot, etc. legally.

Elbow hell! I hope his eyeballs, kidneys, and testicles are mush!

One good whack to the throat would have sufficed.

The only way to find fireworks is the “sniffer” box .

I'm sure there was some objection to using it for this particular person and the Danes were sure to acquiesce.

Pot is legal in Amsterdam. They sell it in the coffeehouses.

Update here:

http://abcnews.go.com/Travel/explosives-northwest-airlines-plane-amsterdam-detroit/story?id=9423871

The man said he was directed by al Qaeda to explode a small device in flight, over U.S. soil, ABC News has learned. Authorities have no corroboration of that information, and the credibility of the suspect’s statements are being questioned, officials said.

The man was apparently already on the government’s no-fly list of suspected terrorists, according to a senior intelligence official.

“The subject is claiming to have extremist affiliation and that the device was acquired in Yemen along with instructions as to when it should be used,” a federal situational awareness bulletin stated.

As far as movies, the last one I went to was 53 years ago.

Then you should know about "Reefer Madness". It was released in 1936 under the title "Tell Your Children"

The throat is pretty small and there was a lot of passengers on that plane. Everyone should get a piece!
