Besides, I like driving.
I bet I’m not the only one.
I was treated so badly in Miami International after a missions trip that I made the same decision. They refuse to profile as they should, and instead make the law abiding people submit to unreasonable measures.
By the time you show up two hours early, wait for your luggage to be delivered, and endure other delays, I figure that a 10 hour drive is just about even money.

On US Airways returning from Philadelphia to San Diego direct in August I could hardly get up to go the the restroom because they constantly had the beverage carts (One with the free drinks and another with the “pay” snacks) in the aisle!!
Well, actually that sounds like a good way to keep everyone in their seats...Keep them drunk and fed, and make a little extra coinage on the side...
A win/win for the airlines...
