ObamaCare Passed by Drunks: Senator Max Baucus In A Drunken Tirade On Senate Floor
David Horowitz's NewsRealblog ^ | 26 December, 2009 | Nancy Morgan

Posted on 12/27/2009 7:32:49 AM PST by Michael van der Galien

During the general debate on the health care legislation that recently passed the Senate, Senator Max Baucus, Democrat from Montana, took to the floor of the Senate and engaged in a drunken tirade. Oblivious to the fact that he was slurring his words and mangling his sentences, Senator Baucus shouted down opponents as he let loose a rambling, and at times incoherent, tirade against those dastardly Republicans who refused to be bipartisan.

This drunk is the Chairman of the Senate Finance Committee, charged with overseeing our taxpayer dollars. As is clearly evident from this video, the less than honorable Baucus should not be in charge of a toll booth, much less have a say in the crafting of legislation that will affect every single American.

For shame.

Watch the video at NewsReal. Baucus is truly pathetic.

This made me sick. A f'ing drunk on the floor of MY United States Senate! His regular phone line voice mail is full but this number just worked - 202-224-4436.

I'm outraged by this. American men and women have died all over the world so we can be free. The beacon of that freedom is our representative republic. The US Senate is part of that republic. As broken as that republic is right now this piece of garbage is still unfit to be in the Senate chamber. A chamber that was once full of real Americans who were real patriots.

Max Baucus shows everyone in America clearly what is wrong with this country. It is being run from the top down by people that should be out on the street, in the gutter instead of anywhere near a position of power.

I am agitated!

Wow! That a$$ is s-faced drunk. I'm surprised he doesn't fall down! He keeps slurring, and repeating the same BS over and over again.

What a crock - these worthless flippin' liberal communist idiots need to be hurt real bad in 2010. And anything, ANYTHING that this congress passes needs to be repealed along with a bunch of other stuff. It's time for an enormous backlash.

2010 elections will be way too late . We need a national strike NOW and we need to use the tactics of the Left back at them. Massive demonstrations , sit ins., boycotts , blocked traffic and aggressive protest are needed.2010 elections ??? What make you think there will be elections in 2010 ? Maybe the appearance of elections will happen but that’s it .

That's EXACTLY what we need. Shut 'em down. I don't know about y'all, but I'm sick of being a tax slave to these morons.

Breathtaking.

He is obviously drunk but it is the lies that stun me.

Bipartisan?? Who are the folks who won’t listen to one opposing idea?? Who exactly??

Pressure from leadership?? What??? Was this before or after the Cornhusker Kickback and the Louisiana Purchase??

Max, alcohol will only dull the pain momentarily. Losing your job will hopefully be forever.

I know Democrats have a bad habit of repeating phrases but Baucus went on non-stop saying the same thing over and over.

One would think this would embarrass some rats, but rats will be rats. New day, same old crap.

Why couldn’t Wicker have had the “balls” to ask Baucus if he was okay or something to highlight the fact that he was drunk. So many missed opportunities for the Pubs!!

I kept waiting for one of the Dems to interrupt to get him “off the stage”, LOL!!

That was so disgusting that I now intend to vote against every elected official currently holding office every chance I get until none of them remain.

Full Disclosure: I was already seriously considering such a move.

How many times Teddy was sober and on the Senate floor is a more interesting question.

“Consider that the most important business of the country is being conducted by people who are in a condition that would get a fry cook fired from McDonald’s.”

Michael Savage has speculated many times that he believes most of the members of Congress are under the influence of some type of mind altering substance. If you need a drug test to work at McDonald’s, then certainly members of Congress should be subjected to the same...
