This situation speaks for itself. It also speaks to the competency and priorities of this "administration" and its focus of power and control as opposed to protecting America and what is GOOD for its people.

How is it that we knew every bit of private information about Joe the Plumber in no time at all,but a terrorist deserves extra consideration?

Ted Kennedy was put on the "no-fly" list and yet this known terrorist was allowed on the plane.

Despite mounting evidence of a sophisticated international plot to “coverup Obama’s incompetence by MSM”. the truth is coming out.

Meanwhile Classic Obama Blame Somebody Else——

In this case the terrorist’s Father gets blamed-—

“””U.S. authorities told The Associated Press that the suspect came to the attention of intelligence officials in November when his father, Alhaji Umaru Mutallab, went to the U.S. Embassy in Abuja, Nigeria, to discuss his concerns about his son’s religious beliefs. One government official said the father did not have any specific information that would put his son on the “no-fly list” or on the list for additional security checks at the airport. Nor was the information sufficient to revoke Abdulmutallab’s visa to visit the United States. It was granted in June 2008 and valid through June 2010.””””

none of the information the government had on Abdulmutallab rose to the level of putting him on the official terror watch list or no-fly list

Which may explain why this "low profile" guy was chosen for this attack.

See what threw the administration off was his graduation picture, such a fine young man, who would have thought? We have before us a reckless bunch of morons who hope each day we don’t get hit hard and the other bunch who does so they can consolidate power through home land security and marshal law.

He wasn't considered a threat. Most terrorists aren't in this administration. Apparently they give the administration advantage to not waste an opportunity to accomplish what they desire.

These are the people they consider a threat: Troops returning home, right wing "extremists" Napolitano stands by controversial report "Rightwing extremism, " the report said in a footnote on Page 2, goes beyond religious and racial hate groups and extends to "those that are mainly antigovernment, rejecting federal authority in favor of state or local authority, or rejecting government authority entirely." and "It may include groups and individuals that are dedicated to a single issue, such as opposition to abortion or immigration," said the report, which also listed gun owners and veterans of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars as potential risks.

Look, it's clear that inspite of the fact that we spend hundreds of Billions$$$ on Homeland Security, we really can't do jack-shite - it's bcome part of our can't do anything anymore culture.
Let's at least admit that and outsource TSA to the Israelis. El Al knows how to weed out the pepper from the flyshit.

They didn`t see the threat he posed because they were busy monitoring us conservatives and dropped the ball due to their rank politicization of national defense. We really need to hammer them on this!
