PHOENIX Authorities say theyve detained two men thought to have been acting suspicious aboard a flight bound for Phoenix.
A Transportation Security Administration spokeswoman says passengers aboard U.S. Airways Flight 192 from Orlando, Fla. Saturday night reported that two men were acting strangely.

Geez, can I fly on a Fedex cargo plane?
Are they Mohammeds?
Nigerians with Bladder Problems?????
No info given.
I believe that is actually possible. On the weekend FedEx places passenger modules inside cargo planes and utilizes the aircraft for passenger flights.
All FedEx flights must go through Memphis. The Muzzies will be targeting their flights next.
Exactly. That’s my point.
Now the incompetent govt. is, as usual, overreacting to every possible passenger behavior considered “strange”. How is it the Israelis have had their act together for decades screening passengers and preventing incidents, while “Security Forces” still perform their jobs like the Keystone Cops?
"The system is working"
If TSA is cracking down on two men acting strangely they can have a field-day in Seattle!
Prescient.
Overeacting as normal. CYA big time.
>>>two men were acting strangely. <<<
Ya but, were they in the restroom?
Especially for officials from San Francisco.
Pingaroo.
John Smith, 55, Warsaw NY and George Jones, 76, Tie Siding, WY?
Local Rags wouldn’t specify the ethnicity of the men. Wonder if they were trolling for US Airways settlement money?
The problem with flying is the other people. Cargo or even cattle would be less nerve racking. ;-)
Are you sure? I've sent many FedEx packages between CA and HI, and have never seen Memphis on the tracking info. Not trying to doubt you, I was just surprised to read this because it would seem inefficient to route packages this way between, say, the West Coast and Hawaii.
TSA: 2 passengers talking suspiciously removed from plane (Phoenix- Sky Harbor)
(snipped)
Suzanne Trevino, a spokesperson with Transportation Security Administration (TSA), said US Airways Flight 192 was inbound from the Orlando Airport when several passengers reported seeing two other passengers talking suspiciously.
FBI spokesperson Manuel Johnson said a female passenger overheard the two Middle Eastern men speaking in a foreign language and reported them to airline staff.
According to Johnson, the two men were talking about being late for their flight and not being able to shop at the airport before boarding their flight to Phoenix.
The men were reportedly watching the movie The Kingdom on a portable DVD player while talking, and the female passenger, who was sitting near the men, thought this was suspicious and reported them to flight personnel.
TSA and officers from the Phoenix Police Department met the plane at the gate when it arrived at Sky Harbor Saturday night.
Johnson said the two men were removed from the flight and questioned by the FBI.
It was determined the men had done nothing wrong and they were released and allowed to continue on to their final destination, Los Angeles.

The President of the United States is HIDING!

Obama gets more unwelcome news from Detroit
By Anne E. Kornblut
HONOLULU — For the second time in three days, President Obama had his vacation interrupted with unwelcome news of a disturbance of a flight landing in Detroit.
Since his arrival four days ago, Obama has not made any public comments about the original Detroit incident, on Christmas, or emerged from his vacation home except to go to the gym, play golf and, briefly on Christmas Day, shake hands with military officers.
Hmm, strange that it doesn’t show up on the tracking info. According to the FedEx tracking info, the packages I’ve sent between CA and HI never touch down in any state besides CA or HI and often arrive in what seems like too a short a time to double-back to Memphis. Weird. Thanks for the info, and it’s not worth haggling about, but it does have me wondering, LOL.
FedEx uses Indianapolis and a west coast airport (SFO?) as secondary hubs. The vast majority of packages move through Memphis, but not everything goes there. Not sure what sort facilities a CA to Hawaii package would pass through...it may still be Memphis.
I see no problem here, we are sending a message to ANY person that falls in a certain profile. Undoubtedly there will be innocents, they should just not travel right now.
And frankly I see no innocents, I suspect ANY Muslim right now.
Thanks.
Thanks, that would make more sense. I think it might be Oakland (OAK) airport, going from memory.
Anyway, didn’t mean to sidetrack this thread, just thought it was interesting. :^)
They would first have to find that behavior strange.
I disagree. They were at least testing or itching for a future lawsuit. It’s happened quite a few times in the last few weeks.

“The passenger told authorities the two men, described as being Middle Eastern, were speaking “loudly” in their native language.
The passenger then saw a suicide bomber on the DVD version of the movie “The Kingdom,” and one of the men reportedly got up to use the lavatory when the fasten-seatbelt sign was lit.
“The totality of those three occurrences led this passenger to believe this was suspicious,” Johnson said.

IMO, in THIS day and age - you don’t behave like that on a flight unless you’re stupid or....
Good for the passenger who reported this.
It may be coincidental, they may be peaceful people that are truly against radical Islamic teachings.
I still think they should refrain from air travel in the near future, its too difficult to restrain morally bound vigilantes, and I hope Obama tries not to discourage it either because its a good thing to have Americans standing up and voicing their fears.
We must unify and indeed confront the fears.
Profiling is the answer. Just start with muzzies and then move onto Dimwits.
I don’t believe in coincidences like that.
Be prepared and observant:

I too hope that we continue to have heroes like the gentleman who jumped the terrorist on Christmas Day - and I certainly wouldn’t refer to them as vigilantes.
For 90% of domestic you're correct. For Hawaii and LAX they make separate runs. Too much distance to fly it over night.
I didn’t know that. Thanks for the info.
Using the term would yes scare the political correct types but there is no getting around the hopefulness that more people ar acting on their own even if they are jumping to conclusions, odds are its being preventative.
I would yes be concerned that the MSM and even Obama himself will try to deter Americans from taking the law into their own hands, yes that would be a very scary thought for Obama.
I would rather be called a live vigilante than a charred piece of human flesh scattered along with 200 other passengers in a field somewhere.
I knew it I knew it
Turn out be Senator McCain and Mitt Romery maybe McCain tick off that Sarah Palin more popular than he is LOL! RIGHT NOW!
He is like John Gilbert of GOP tick off his career sucks while Sarah Palin play Greta Garbo character getting all these movies roles
More Rogue Amish, I presume?
.... we are sending a message to ANY person that falls in a certain profile.

PC isn’t keeping air passengers safe so we must protect ourselves and profiling is common sense at this point. The muzzies are testing, testing, testing. It’s a win/win for them if they get profiled, they sue. If they don’t, they blow up a plane. Either way, it’s terrorism.
In 2004 my husband and I were in line to board a flight and two muzzie men entered the area, threw down prayer rugs and started the bowing thing. Nobody paid any attention to them but I whipped out my cell phone and called a family member and loudly said Would you get on a plane with two Muslims praying before boarding? The muzzies heard me and stared hard then stopped. Other passengers heard me and started staring back at them, too.
Once on the plane my husband said If they get on this plane we are getting off. Everybody was listening and watching the hatch. The didn’t board but we would have never flown with them after that attempt at intimidation in a public airport.
The passenger then saw a suicide bomber on the DVD.......
##################333
You know, that’s just wrong for that muslim passenger to watch something like that on a flight. That’s just purposefully trying to upset a co-passenger.
If I ever have to fly again I will board with a bag of fried pork rinds to munch on and have a DVD of Iraq civilian death news reports, just in case.
Fight fire with fire.
For 90% of domestic you're correct. For Hawaii and LAX they make separate runs. Too much distance to fly it over night.
But don't mix up FedEX air with their FedEX ground service.
Their ground service trucks just take normal freeway routes between major cities...:^)
Call me a proud American profiler, but every Middle Easterner or anyone that looks like one, is suspect to me.
someone should morph his face into janet napolitano’s
A dry run perhaps but in recent writings, they will do a coordinated attack on as many as 8 cities and not use airliners because the passengers are now fighting back.
are they men?
