Arkansas police continue to search for two suspects in the shooting death of a Salvation Army major on Christmas Eve.
Salvation Army Major Philip Wise was killed outside the organization’s community center in North Little Rock, Arkansas as his three young children looked on.
Wise had worked for the Salvation Army for 16 years and had been at the Little Rock location for 3 years.
"He was so important to that community," said North Little Rock Police Department spokesman Terry Kuykendahl told FoxNews.com.
"This has been a tremendous blow to (them)."
Thanks to private citizens' donations, police are offering a reward of up to $3,000 for any information leading to the suspects' arrests.
The suspects are described as two African-American males and are believed to be 'armed with handguns.' Police are following up on leads, but are asking the public to help them by contacting them with any bit of information they may have.
Police said the suspects were last seen running on foot towards a government-funding housing community in the area.

If Holder tries to disarm America in the name of public safety, he should first go into the inner cities and disarm the armed criminals first. Of course, if that was successful he wouldn’t have to disarm the rest of us. Maybe the do-no-good Congress should pass a law that anyone convicted of a gun crime gets an automatic life sentence with hard labor. That might discourage thugs like this a little.
I read the earlier thread on this and was appalled; I used to live not far from there. The location of this Salvation Army is deep in the hood, I recall some kind of story on this quite awhile back. It seemed to be in a location that made no sense. If these suspects were running “toward subsidized housing,” that’s all that’s in the area. There were some earlier remarks about drug dealers, I suspect the perps were either dealers or looking for money for dealers.
No worries, someone else will get popped on another issue and will give these two up for leniency.
Or the snitch money is not high enough yet.
If these scumbags didn’t have mouths, then crimes would be harder to solve. They all talk to someone uninvolved and it does them in eventually.

They probably are males, but as for the “African” part - I don’t think either of them has ever gone near Africa.

Please! I like animals! These creatures are some form of anti-life. And their litter-mates are protecting them.
