I was pro life BEFORE Roe v. Wade and have scars to prove it. I have walked the walk and have endured severe abuse from pro choicers. I have FReeped when I was the only FReeper who showed up. I have shed tears, prayed, and agonized over the abortion question for forty years.
I don’t much like being called a liar. I said I was in California when abortion was legal BEFORE Roe v. Wade when Reagan was gov of California. Do some research. Reagan did sign that bill that legalized abortion in California.
The greatness of Reagan - and his pro life stand - make him the greatest president of all time in my eyes.
I believe in redemption, that people can change, and be forgiven thanks to the sacrifice of the Savior Jesus Christ.
This is not about whether you are or are not pro life. I have not even thought about questioning whether you're pro life. This is about your inability to see what is right is front of your face. Limiting abortion to health is not equal to abortion on demand. Neither you nor your lying friend Mitt seems to get that and not one of you has a problem with lying about someone who is not here to defend himself.
So this bill was signed in 1967 and you say you were there then in California as a part of the pro life movement? Considering the pro life movement did not get started until around the time of Roe v Wade in the early 70's, I'm beginning to doubt what you say. But, be that as it may, you should already know everything that is in this article, and that makes your lies even worse. So keep your perfidious tales to yourself until you can admit they are nothing but attempts to slander Ronald Reagan just to make your lying Romney look better.
I am 62 years young and I was the President of Concerned for Life in Hayward when Roe v. Wade slammed us between the eyes in 1973. I remember weeping in despair because I knew what it meant. Stop calling me a liar.

Oh, for goodness’ sake. I loved Ronald Reagan!! I said he is the greatest president of all time. I can’t help it that when he was gov of California abortions were legal due to a law he signed. I’m sure he was sorry about that.

For years here at FR you have tried to spread the lie that Ronald Reagan was pro abortion.
That isn't love sister.
Their ability to say they respect him while they regularly lie about him and trash him says volumes about their lack of character and scruples. Their washed up lying liberal candidate, Romney, is the worse one of the bunch. They get their marching orders from him and they are created in his lying image.

All I’m saying is that when Reagan was gov of CA he signed a bill that made abortion legal in CA, even before Roe v. Wade. It’s a fact; it’s not a lie. Later, he regretted it and spent the rest of his life in pro life mode. I loved and admired Ronald Reagan.
That is a bald faced lie, not only did you ignore the last post to you, you ignored my post 152 when I quote you saying that Reagan was proabortion.

He said he was sorry and that he was wrong. Period. When was the last time you heard one of the candidates admit he was “wrong” about anything. Reagan was pro choice at one time.

You bear false witness against Ronald Reagan and have spent years attacking him here at freerepublic, no one has ever been able to make you stop, and some threads have seen very involved efforts to get you to stop lying about Reagan, but it is impossible, you will do anything to serve Romney.
Ansel12, there is a mormonesgue thing known as ‘lying for the Lord’. Well, apparently it also applies to lying for the Mormon candidate, Romney. But it is a shocker to see it with this Lady’s posts. Are you so sure it is lying?... Could there be a misunderstanding here? She is rabidly pro-Romney, but a bold-faced liar? ... Not so much, FRiend.

Saundra has been saying those things for almost two and a half years, many people have taken many different approaches and posted many arguments in an effort to get her to stop lying, and none of them worked.
She came onto this thread late, after 3 trolls had already been banned, and what did she show up to do? She showed up to sell the idea that Reagan had been proabortion at one time and had changed just like Romney, and no one is having any success in getting her to stop.

It’s not about religion. I never has been. It’s dedication to a liar that goes beyond anything normal. And yes it is bold faced. Read through my posts. I have confronted her, just as I have confronted other Romney liars. I have even posted some of the research she requested I do. She is so adherent to the lie that she did not even bother to look at the research she requested from me. How do I know that? The link was broken yet she said nothing to me about it.
If she wants the truth, why would she not even bother to read the research she requested? The truth is she does not care about what is fact, or what is true. She will do anything to protect the image of that lying liberal Romney including completely avoid the truth if it will prove him to be a liar.
