One thing we do know about O is that he was in Indonesia between ages 6 and 10. Plus, the other kid in the photo can pass for Indonesian. However, if you look carefully, you will see Christmas posters in the background, which wouldn't be likely in Indonesia. So was this Photoshopped?

He was in a Catholic school in Indonesia apparently, so there could have been Christmas posters. And the other kid could be Chinese as well as Japanese, and there are plenty of Chinese in Indonesia. He does not look Indonesian at all btw.

But the provenance of the picture is clearly Hawaiian, not Indonesian, requiring an explanation. My guess is he didn’t stay in Indonesia till 1970, but 1969. The picture is obviously from late 1969.
