It doesn't matter if HI was a state or not, it was a territory of the USA and therefore anyone born there was a citizen. To keep pushing that BS is just that, BS. Keep things on a real level, go after him on real issues, was he born in HI or Indonesia. If Indonesia he is not a citizen, if HI he is, regardless of the year he was actually born.
According to you everyone born in a Territory back in the 1800s was not a citizen, which would have made most of the residents of the USA non citizens. That is simply BS, period.
So if someone from Guam or Puerto Rico wanted to run for President and actually won, would you accept them as President?
