Poll names Pelosi, congressional Republicans 'losers' Posted: December 28th, 2009 10:47 AM ET
From CNN Ticker Producer Alexander Mooney
(CNN) Americans don't believe House Speaker Nancy Pelosi or Congressional Republicans had a particularly good 2009: Both were labeled "losers" in a just-released Gallup poll.
According to the new poll, 50 percent of those surveyed thought Pelosi is among the "losers" of the year while 52 percent said the same for Republicans in Congress. Conversely, only 39 percent think Pelosi is a "winner" while 38 percent gave positive marks to GOP members of congress.
As for other political losers of the year, 61 percent identified South Carolina Rep. Joe Wilson - who earned fame after his "You Lie!" outburst at President Obama - and 63 percent named South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford, whose exploits with an Argentinean woman were well documented last summer.

If the GOP doesn’t saddle up with the Tea Party.....they surely will be loosers.
I smell BS on this poll. Sounds like damn near to a push poll favoring democraps.
Looks like CNN polled only dems. Typical.
I assume this is another Gallup poll of all adults, a misleading portrait of the electorate since half of them dont vote.
Meanwhile, Ras finds the GOP with its largest lead yet on the generic ballot ... eight points.
So much for honest reporting.
I’m calling BS-61% over Joe Wilson? Nope, don’t believe it..
There! Fixed it!!
I conducted my own poll and 99.8% of adults aged 22 to 97 years old thought that CNN really sucks, and 100% thought the same of the democrats and CBS, NBC, and ABC. 157% thought Obama was a loser too, but we think some may have thought they were still working for ACORN and may have voted two or three times extra in that poll. We will be checking this out soon.
The losers seems to just mean the people who have had a hard time this year, not a poll about who people dislike necessarily, if I am reading it right.
Thus, the results aren’t a shock.
"Results are based on telephone interviews with 1,025 national adults, aged 18 and older, conducted Dec. 11-13, 2009"
My take:
1. The polling of national adults is the most unreliable
2. Polling took place 12/11-12/13 and that was a weekend. A time when Democrats poll particularly well.
3. This poll is garbage
Why should this poll, be any different than any other poll?
...just askin'....w/ (gross) oversampling of liberal voters.
Joe Wilson might be in a position to stand for Speaker of the House.
Mark Sanford and Joe Wilson? You have to ask certain, pointed questions to come up with that crap? Why no questions about Dodd, Jefferson, or any other dozen democrap under investigation for corruption.
oh!...they'll never call it "political corruption"
its called, Enhanced Community Fiscal Activities.
