I saw a report on this while I was in Texas last week. ROTFL! It's another example of the liberals shooting themselves in the foot again. Texas claims that it is losing tax revenue from people driving hybrids and electric cars. People are using less gasoline to "save da planet" and as a result, the states are getting less revenue. ROTFL!!! Rush calls this dynamic scoring. Something the dumbass lefties just can't get a handle on. This tax makes sense to me. If hybrid and electric car owners want to use the roads, the states need to find a way to make sure they are paying their "fair share".
A mind is a terrible thing to waste! Stop voting for DemocRATS! THINK about what you are doing before you vote.

TO get the enviroweenies, how about a $5,000 annual fee for registering an electric, and a $2,500 for a hybrid?
I spend roughly $3,500 a year in gas, so that should be fair enough.
I drive about 30,000 miles a year, in a 4x4 truck that is getting about 18 MPG city.
