I argee/disagree.

A large number of terrorist plots were stopped by the aggressive reaction of Attorney General Ashcroft,and you can credit W for appointing him.

A somewhat smaller number of terrorist attacks were stopped because hundreds of their hard core leaders spent the Bush years cooling their heels, praying five times a day, in Guantanamo, while tens of thousansds of the foot soldiers who would have carried out these attacks were ripped open by hot American metal in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Nevertheless, he could have done more.
