...more likely he was a mule

In re the Chinese train, I am not too impressed. Remember what happened during their recent earthquake? They are not known for quality engineering.

China doesn’t have to deal with pesky little things like compensating people for their property taken for the rail line. They don’t have to meet any ecological standards, safety standards or workplace standards.
It’s easy to build a railroad when you can just bulldoze everything in the way and build it as fast and cheap as possible.
...and they’ll shoot anyone who dares try to stop the railroad or save their own home.

Frowning takes 68 muscles.
Smiling takes 6.
Pulling this trigger takes 2.
I'm lazy.

yeah, it’s easy to jump to that conclusion. Then you read the full story and realise the guy appears to have been clearly mentally ill and used as an unwitting dupe.
Terrible case.
To: Morgana
bipolar? delusional? How about he was using the crap he smuggled! The guy appears to have been clinically insane. Some mentally-disturbed individuals attempt to self-medicate with addictive drugs. He just picked the wrong country to pass through. It's a sad case and to compound the tragedy, the Chinese are denying his family's request for his remains. I have to wonder what they did to him in prison that they'd deny this request.

It's what they did after he was executed. He'd be coming back minus various body parts.

Q: How does a bipolar drug smuggling Muslim differ from your average Muslim terrorist?
A: He only kills fellow druggies.

“I think this guy probably was bipolar and very delusional based on the accounts of people that knew him from his time in Poland.”
If thats the case, then he probably didn’t even know that he was about to die. Good for him.

Even at Gitmo, you can take a dip in the ocean, air conditioned, new prayer rugs, healthy diet, medical, art therapy, ACLU Watch ---on to Thompson, Illinois with snow drifts, frigid cold (Windchill: 9 °F ), corn fields, soy beans--that may derail terror?(Note)Yemenis represent almost half of the roughly 200 remaining prisoners at Gitmo. Complicates the move after the Ex-Gitmos planned their latest foiled attack.
To: EagleFace
You mean he was a potential maxi-pad bomber.
