It is not just whites who become frightened of large housing projects. No matter what the ethnic make up of the area, and let us be honest normally we are talking African American communities, the honest hardworking home owners around a large housing project suffer the worse. In a housing project you accumulate all of the losers in society, drug addicts, thieves and the dysfunctional. Raw survival, gangster ethics and entitlement are the only family values often being taught making crime spread out like some form of toxic waste from these places into the communities. Even if a resident might feel the urge to help the police the fear, sometimes absolute terror, of their neighbors which is reasonable when you are surrounded by vicious criminals would prevent them from speaking out. If our government insists on creating public housing they should make them extremely small like four to six units, and scattered to avoid the culture of dysfunction which arises in these places.

If someone in this housing project knows who the killers are, they CAN pick up a phone and call in an anonymous tip to the police. Listen to a police scanner sometime and hear how many anonymous calls come in from ghetto neighborhoods about shootings, domestics, batteries, robberies, suspicious persons, baby momma drama, gangs of people fighting, etc. They do know how to use the phone...but the black culture is morally broken, the “reverends” are in it for the money, and you have generational public aid recipients who like it just fine. Horrible.
