Moderate Senate Democrats have begun urging the White House to give up on a cap-and-trade climate change bill in 2010, according to Politico.
Senator Mary Landrieu (D-La.) is one of at least a half-dozen who do not want to take up the divisive issue in an election year after the battle over health care legislation has split voters.

I hope the left pushes them to pass it...a defeated left is just what we need going into the 2010 and 2012 elections

Harry, Nancy, and Obama could care less about the moderates. This is all about their agenda and the moderates should have realized this before cutting their own throats.
I have come to believe there are no pro-life nor moderate Democrats.For the person who asked me,I know of 2 who have been denied Communion and 1 who was denied a Catholic Marriage.

Moderate Democrat, Blue dog Democrat … in the end they are all Democrats and will vote as such as is evidenced by the latest Obamacare vote.
When you use the word “slimey” I think of slugs and snakes. I guess it is a fit description for the Democrat slimeballs.
The Health care Bill has already raised the crap tide until they are up over their hip boots in it.
