Former Vice President Says Obama's Approach to Terrorists Makes U.S. 'Less Safe'

WASHINGTON, Dec. 30, 2009 One day after President Obama called the "human and systemic failures" leading to the attempted Christmas Day bombing of Northwest flight 253 "totally unacceptable," former Vice President Dick Cheney is accusing the president of being part of the problem.
Gibbs fires back: The "VP was for seven years not focused on Afghanistan.""We are at war, and when President Obama pretends we aren't, it makes us less safe," Cheney said in a statement to Politico.
Cheney said Obama's "low key response" to the failed attack, refusal to use the phrase "war on terror" and the pending closure of the Guantanamo Bay detention center all reflect an attitude that terrorism is a law enforcement problem not a military one.
"Why doesn't he want to admit we're at war? It doesn't fit with the view of the world he brought with him to the Oval Office. It doesn't fit with what seems to be the goal of his presidency – social transformation – the restructuring of American society," Cheney said.

Why is this a surprise?Obama's been pretending he's fit to be president for a year now!
Because it is uncomfortable for the Obamination to call his hommies "terrorists" or enemy combatants or any other negative thing.
Because he is part of them. His basic worldview is one of American guilt and self-loathing.
Obama refuses to recognize these terrorists because they represent a religion in which he closely associates. Forget the fact that he marketed himself as a Christian. His policies represent a visceral hate-tread for us and the Jews. Everything that makes up this man screams Muslim.
Because his heart and soul are with their cause.

Why not enemy combatants? They believe America has done wrong all these years. They are teaching us a lesson. No way these terrorist are the enemy, they are fighting against the evil capitalist.

He bows to their heads of state. He’s sympathetic to the islamic cause.
Note the lack of any passion at all when Americans are killed (Fort Hood and the “shout outs”) or nearly blown out of the sky(Detroit). He won’t even put on a tie when he makes a statement on the Detroit attempt.
