That's what voters say, according to today's (Rasmussen survey:)
Fifty-eight percent (58%) of U.S. voters say waterboarding and other aggressive interrogation techniques should be used to gain information from the terrorist who attempted to bomb an airliner on Christmas Day.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that just 30% oppose the use of such techniques, and another 12% are not sure.
There's this, too:
Seventy-one percent (71%) of all voters think the attempt by the Nigerian Muslim to blow up the airliner as it landed in Detroit should be investigated by military authorities as a terrorist act. Only 22% say it should be handled by civilian authorities as a criminal act, as is currently the case.
My conclusion: the debate is over, and Dick Cheney won it.

Obama, McCain, and others make a big fuss about "torture" here at home but allow it to go on elsewhere in the world. McCain was tortured by the Vietnamese, really, really, really tortured...waterboarding is NOT torture.
John's conclusion is above questioning.

I remember this old episode of Dr Who...all the people were required to watch the news each night and then push a button on their tv set to vote on what should be done by the government in various instances - punishments for crimes, taxes raised or lowered, should we kill all the rich people, etc...often times, polls reported as news remind me of this absurd logical conclusion to polling and focus groups to see what our leaders should do before they do it...

If John’s conclusion is that this clown doesnt need waterboarding, then I question it,
I question it wholeheartedly.
Make use of any device we have to keep these people from bringing mass death to Americans, Anything else is horse crap.
Odumnbo made a big mistake in outlawing waterboarding, I fear that decision will lead to American deaths, and he wont be able to blame that on Bush.

It probably wouldn’t have been necessary to waterboard him if they’d just asked him some questions.

If another Yemen terrorist strikes (successfully or not) the Zero is screwed.
It won’t take a very smart opponent to bring up this “Doomsday Scenario”. It will be his “Dukakis Moment”.
To: yoe
Obama and company are going to have blood on their hands if any future terrorist attacks succeed and that guy is sitting in a jail cell lawyered up.

Why do people simultaneously post things to “Extended” and “Editorial?” Is this even an editorial?

Pointing a gun at his goneson wont accomplish much. Just tell him that since he just became a soprano, allow us to introduce him to the ones the TV show was based on.
