Probably trying to find Jimmy Hoffa.
Different kinds of neighborhoods have different kinds of can collectors. Environmentally-conscious types are prevalent in wealthier neighborhoods, and they’ll pick up any can they see so as to make sure it gets dropped in a recyclcing bin to save the planet. Ande ven wealthy neighborhoods usually have some obnoxious kids who’ll toss cans on neighbors lawns if no one’s looking. And lots of homeowners who will quickly pick up anything that mars the appearance of their carefully landscaped garden.
