I’ve always wondered why the Islamofascists don’t get 100 jihadis and start shooting into crowds, but then I realize that their purpose is not just to kill people. They want to make a statement about their ability to bring us down. I have read that the goal of the World Trade Center attacks was to literally push the buildings over - which would have crippled Wall Street. That’s why the terminal at Valdez is sometimes mentioned in reports about future attacks - after all, Valdez is tiny by Lower 48 standards, but it would be a good way to demonstrate the jihadi’s ability to attack our economic structure.
My guess is that they’re aiming for an EMP using a stratospheric nuclear device. Detonated over the Midwest, it would create havoc, and, as an extra, it might take days or months to determine who launched what and how. I don’t think it would be the end of all things, either, but wars have their ups and downs. Done during the feckless Obama administration, the cleanup would be a disaster in itself, while the president would only have his 19th century Marxist ideology and his gang of Chicago party thugs as a guide for his response. Jihadis would be partying for months afterwards.
I still don’t see them winning, by the way, but I can see that it will take a real wallop to wake most of us up.

King Obama is perceived as weak. The radical Muslims thrive on weakness. The closing of Gitmo, the trashing of the CIA, the hesitations to send troops to Afghan, and combine that with the destruction of our economy, they will pounce hard. Add the show trial in NY doesn’t help. His Administration cut some funds for the military. And King Obama is a sick child with an ego that will never allow him to see what he has done and change.

Well, we already had more terror attacks in 2009 than at any time since 9/11.
I have often wondered why there were not more terrorist incidents in this country. I think the answer is NOT that Bush prevented it by running a tight security network, because frankly the FBI remained broken after clinton left office and the borders are sieves.
Instead, I think there were only a few attacks—and some we probably never learned about because they were successfully covered up—because our enemies figured that Bush would do something in response, as he did after 9/11.
They have no such fear about Obama. And while our protections remained rather weak under Bush, they have gotten much weaker since, by the appointment of a gang of radical incompetents to most of the key posts in this Communist/Muslim administration.
There are untold numbers of radical mosques in every major metropolitan area of the US. They are working via a whole raft of strategies—immigration, massive procreation, “invitation to islam” (da’wa), subversion, propaganda, enlisting of dupe and shills, infiltration of the prisons and our armed forces, political initiatives, and violence—to conquer America and the world and to bring us all under the rule of sharia law.
Then there is the muslim communist obama, working to implement a muslim conspiracy to murder tens of millions of Americans, under the guise of “health care reform”. He is supported in this by legions of corrupt, brain-dead, heart-dead politicians and pseudo-intellectuals.
Then their are the brain-dead, heart-dead ones who say that we cannot “discriminate” by profiling muslims and muslim collaborators. So that the entire air-traveling public must be deprived of rest-room privileges and reading material, scanned and re-scanned, and made to carry toiletries in itty-bitty bottles in a miniscule ZipLoc bag, all under the guise of “security”. Since the purpose of terrorism is not just to kill, but to terrorize, the terrorists are winning this one, big time!!
