There must be lots of people involved in paleoclimatology and related fields who knew about these manipulations , 13 years ago. Was there any whistle-blowing then? Or did they all duck their heads down and mutter, "Not my job, boss"?

Or did they all duck their heads down and mutter, "Not my job, boss"? "It's all about money. Those that went along remained gainfully employed and got grant after grant. Those few that did speak up were shouted down and/or hounded out of the field of study. A brave few (too few) persevered in the face of this.
