Soft on terror? Not this president (WP goes to bat for the Shave-Ice eating wimp of a President)

THERE IS, it seems evident, more than enough blame to go around in the botched handling of the botched Christmas bombing. Not for some Republicans. With former vice president Richard B. Cheney in the lead, they have embarked on an ugly course to use the incident to inflict maximum political damage on President Obama. That's bad enough, but their scurrilous line of attack is even worse. The claim that the incident shows the president's fecklessness in the war on terror is unfounded -- no matter how often it is repeated.

These critics have set up a straw Obama, a weak and naive leader who allegedly takes terrorism lightly, thinks that playing nicely with terrorists will make them stop, and fails to understand the threat that the United States faces from violent extremists. Mr. Cheney said that the incident had made "clear once again that President Obama is trying to pretend we are not at war."

March 2, 2007 in Chicago

“This war has fueled terrorism and helped galvanize terrorist organizations. And it has made the world less safe.”

” a consequence of the Administration’s failed strategy in Iraq has been to strengthen Iran’s strategic position; reduce U.S. credibility and influence in the region; and place Israel and other nations friendly to the United States in greater peril. These are not the signs of a well-paved road. It is time for profound change”

“As the U.S. redeploys from Iraq, we can recapture lost influence in the Middle East. We can refocus our efforts to critical, yet neglected priorities, such as combating international terrorism and winning the war in Afghanistan.”

“And we can, then, more effectively deal with one of the greatest threats to the United States, Israel and world peace: Iran.”

Oct 22 2008

Obama responded in strong terms to the passage of the Military Commissions Act in September 2006, which granted the Bush Administration wide latitude to define what would constitute the torture of detainees at Guantanamo Bay. He joined critique of the bill’s suspension of habeas corpus for potentially innocent detainees

the early summer of 2008, Obama became much more specific about his objectives regarding the ‘war on terror.’

In January, 2007, he introduced to the Senate an Iraq plan called “the Iraq War De-escalation Act of 2007.” In his remarks introducing the bill to the Senate, Obama proposed a “phased redeployment of U.S. forces” that would conclude in March, 2008 (”redeployment” means that troops will restation on bases in countries near Iraq).

As of July, 2008, Obama’s officially announced plan was to have all combat troops removed from Iraq in 16 months, by the summer of 2010. According to his campaign website, residual troops would remain to conduct counterterrorism operations in the country and region

Obama, 6/19/2008, “The record shows that George Bush and John McCain have been weak on terrorism. Their approach has failed. Because of their policies, we are less safe, less respected and less able to lead the world.”

Obama on Bin Laden, 6/19/2008, “I think what would be important would be for us to deal with him in a way that allows the entire world to understand the murderous acts that he's engaged in and not to make him into a martyr.”

January 2, 2010

Obama, his daughters and his half-sister spent about an hour Saturday at Sea Life Park, a marine center east of Honolulu in Waimanalo. Sea Life Park has animals including dolphins, sea lions, penguins, stingrays and sea turtles.

The first family and friends later drove to the beach at Marine Corps Base Hawaii in Kaneohe.

The Obama family and friends had Sea Life Park mostly to themselves

washingtonpost: Bush Plan for Terrorism Trials Defended

Nov 15, 09:51 pm ·

The U.S. Attorney General and Vice President defend the decision to prosecute terrorists in military trials. This comes despite Ashcroft’s own warnings last month against allowing government the authority to set aside the constitution.

Obama is about as good at fighting terrorism as he is at bowling. At least they make a game for Wii where he can improve at bowling.

Yeah...when the WAPO has to say, on the editorial page, that Obama is not soft on terror...it means Obama and the WAPO know people know he is soft on terror.

The press must pay. I guess though good doesn’t always triumph over evil.

Obama’s Attorney General is Eric Holder. Holder’s law firm provided millions of dollars in pro-bono assistance to America’s worst terrorist enemies. Obama’s Attorney General is hounding, bankrupting, and attempting to imprison the American Intelligence people who captured and interrogated America’s foreign terror enemies in the months and days following 911. Obama’s Attorney General has decreed full US Citizen rights to the foreign terrorist mastermind who plotted 911. This tells us all we need to know about Obama and the War on terror. Forget rhetoric: Obama’s actions suggest he is on the other side.

The crotch bomber should have been severely interrogated and waterboarded immediately. This alone shows have faggy and wimpy 0bama is when it comes to domestic terror. This alone shows how loony this Washington Post editorial is

Plus Janet Napolitano? Appointing this lesbo to head Homeland Security shows how faggy and un-serious 0bama is about US security

This picture only says half.
Obama ACTIVELY helps terrorists, all terrorists, all murderers.

It is the way of the DNC, Barack Hussein Obama, SOA, and Eric Holder, SOA.

Obama is going to throw shaved Hawaiian ice or swing a golf club at them. He can't be bothered on his vacation. (The press gave President Bush hell for simply chopping up a few limbs on his own ranch.)

I have yet to find anything that Obama has actually done except lecture others and travel.
