That's because he was "selected" and not "elected" (at least according to the mythology of the ACORN set).

LOL! They attacked Bush immediately, delayed his ability to appoint his Cabinet and threw everything off-schedule with their lawsuits so that when Bush arrived in office he was already at a significant disadvantage.

He rose to the challenge, and they continued to attack, stopping for about 2 weeks after 9/11 because they obviously had been living in a fool’s paradise and were stunned by it. But that didn’t last long. And this was only in the first year. The first 8 months, actually.

I guess it ended when Hitlery, in the well of the senate, held up a tabloid headline saying "BUSH KNEW!"
