Al-Qeada taunts TSA & Obama Administration
STATE OF COMPLETE DENIAL
OBAMA OFFICIAL: WE ALLOWED NO LAPSE IN SECURITY
A member of the Obama Administration says there was no lapse in security that allowed a would-be bomber, with ties to al Qaeda, from boarding a U.S. flight from Amsterdam, Netherlands to Detroit, Michigan on Christmas day.
John Brennan, assistant to President Barack Obama for homeland security and counter-terrorism, told "Fox News Sunday" that while there may have been "bits and pieces" of information regarding Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab before he was arrested for attempting to blow-up Northwest Airlines Flight 252 and to kill the 290 passengers on board, "there was no smoking gun" that would have prevented from gaining a seat on the aircraft - - even though he failed to produce a valid passport.
"There was no piece of intelligence that said, 'This guy's a terrorist. He's going to get on a plane.'" Mr. Brennan insisted. "No, not whatsoever. It was the failure to integrate and piece together those bits and pieces of information."
The Homeland Security official admitted that "there were some lapses. There were some human errors. There were some failures of the system to allow that to happen at the speed of light."
But, Mr. Brennan added, a probe of the government's dealings with its information on Abdulmutallab has so far provided "no indication whatsoever that any agency or department was not trying to share information." Mr. Brennans remarks have been refuted by Britains Home Secretary Alan Johnson who confirmed that Abdulmutallab had been refused a new visa and had been placed on a watch list last May.

So Obama says there was a “catastrophic failure” while Brennan says no, there was no systemic failure. Who to believe??? Not to worry. No one but Fox, Talk Radio, or the blogosphere will notice that this admin is doing its best to channel Kevin Bacon at the end of Animal House.
Gordon Brown said on the BBC, that the problem is a few bad guys trying to hijack a peaceful religion,Islam.
Umar of Diapergate should have been put on their no fly list then veted up or down not wait to check him out while he nearly blows up 300 people over US soil...
Brennan vs. Lieutenant Quarles Harris Jr. ???
I’ve never heard why a one way ticket in cash wasn’t enough to pull him out of line for a second screening. And he checked no luggage. No red flags here, move along.
No Smoking Gun in Umar’s underware.
“What? THAT underware? Nope not mine, I go commando.
What? THESE burns? Stewardess spilled Mcdonalds coffee
on me.”
They are so fargin’ wrong. It was not a failure to put pieces of info together. Each piece of info they had in and of itself should have been a giant honking red flag. The failure is not to put pieces together but to recognize a red flag when you see it. But apparently short of someone wearing a sign saying “I am a terrorist” followed up with a loud statement “I have a bomb”, they either don’t know or are reluctant to admit what they need to be looking for.
If even a fraction of that the dad said he told the embassy was true, then Brennan's quote is a bald-faced lie.
Well..., either we in the West declare war on Islam, or Islam will continue waging war against the West, relatively unhindered in its actions...
the US Government will tell a bigger lie next week when the next plane does go down killing all aboard.
The press continues to defend these clowns so why shouldn’t they continue to lie? They can’t tell you it was a center fuel tank explosion, wait, it’s been over a decade, sure, that’s the cause.
Some apologist tried to claim fewer than 10% of Muslims are fundamentalists or potential jihadists. Hugh Hewitt pointed out that 10% came out to 102 million.
They should have cleared him for half the flight, then dropped him off in the middle of the Atlantic.
Try to blow up a passenger jet—work a plea deal
Peak at the messiah’s passport........
