President Obama returns to the White House Sunday night amid new questions about the effectiveness of our fight against terrorism.
The failed terror attempt on a flight to Detroit raised new concerns about the response to the threat. When the President leaves the island paradise of Hawaii, he'll come back to questions about who is to blame for the terrorist near miss on an airliner in Detriot and even more questions about what's being done now to keep the nation safe.
The Christmas Day terror attempt is bringing flashbacks to post 9/11 frustration: warning signs existed, but weren't pieced together.

According to Politico, starting at midnight there will be a new normal for international passengers traveling into the US. All passengers will received tightened random screening and 100 percent of passengers from 14 terrorism-prone countries will be patted down and have their carry-on items searched.
President Obama is cutting his vacation short and will return to Washington Monday, a day earlier than planned. First on his list will be addressing the series of new questions about national security.
According to this AP article, "Obama was scheduled to leave Oahu on Sunday night aboard Air Force One" after spending "“every moment of every day” thinking about the nation's security.
Not really, that's just talk for the rubes who listened to his Saturday radio address.
Actually, according to the AP, "Obama's holiday vacation in Hawaii was filled with golfing, a luau with friends, and family excursions across the warm island of Oahu."
Wow, he’s coming back a whole day early. /s

He played golf today and took a party of 19 out for ice cream. Obviously, he is sooooo concerned about what happened.... 10 days ago.

Who the hell is he going to apoligise to this time? It was just an errant man-made disaster that failed to happen. The overseas contingency operation is going just as planned.
The fact that they have to tell people that he has spent “every moment of every day thinking about the nations security” says it all. They know people think he’s a weakass who cares more about golf and eating shaved ice.
