-- like the line in the Mel Brooks movie Blazing Saddles that goes, "Badges? We don't need no stinking badges,"I agree with the main theme of the article but ... that line comes from "Treasure of the Sierra Madre" with Humphrey Bogart. Not at all a comedy FWIW.

Tea Party is a popular movement. Popular movements lead from the bottom up. Any would-be leader is an impostor.

Not only does the Tea Party not need a leader, I suspect it would also be ill-served by becoming a real political party as well. Better to take over the existing Republican Party through sheer numbers.

“FWIW”
Thanks for the abbreviation I’ve never seen. Now I can use that one too. :)

Amen! Time for the people to do their thing... Really tired of the old money purchasing votes system. High time for populace uprisings against this horribly corrupt system..

A machine is the sum of its parts. One goes bad, the machine stops working. We need ALL of the parts working together to be effective. One bulldozer can have MANY drivers, but if the bulldozer don’t run, what good is ONE driver ar MANY drivers? Zilch.

The one person, one vote does tend to be a bit different as far as getting rid of the trash. Agree that it does eventually need a leader to be elected but today, that seems like a lost dream.

Awesome editorial! Thanks for posting. I agree with 100% of it. We need to inspire new people to get into politics but within the 2-party system or it will all be over the next election. Once Obama rams his giveaways through there won’t be any productive people left in the country to vote him out. ACORN will have free reign.

Attempting to form a third party again would be like a movie sequel: "Ross Perot II: This Time, It's Devastating."Very true, but if the clueless GOP hoists another Compassionate Conservative, Flip-Flopping, Moderate RINO onto the ticket in 2012, the sequel will be: "John McCain II: The D.O.A. Express Refuelled"

Some of us have been working on a far reaching plan to unify the parts as part II of the RINO FREE AMERICA PROJECT. We expect to have it posted early in the week. Working together, there is NOTHING we can’t do.
We are gonna BURN DOWN THE TENT!
Watch for it.

We have a cure for that. You would be surprised what a determined strategy can do. What we will propose has never been tried before. It is new...and we think it will be golden.
Watch for it.

Found the Facebook site and joined! You do really need to specify where and what is happening, and how to join...
